An Apple a Day
Has anyone else spotted the apple motif that seems to be everywhere right now? I for one, love it.

Quentin Blake prints
I was a HUGE fan of Roald Dahl as a child. I read all of his books and remeber being so sad when he passed away. So you can imagine how badly I want one (or two) of these gorgeous limited edition prints of Quentin Blake illustrations we all remember from his books.
How great would this George’s Marvellous Medicine print be in the kitchen?

DIY Ice-Cream Parlour
This Ice-Cream Parlour by Amy puts my efforts to shame! More photos and templates (so generous!) over at Eat Drink Chic.

My Favourite Cookbooks
I love my cookbooks. I have tons and tons of them but I have my firm favourites too. The Hummingbird Bakery is a cupcake bakery in Notting Hill and their cakes are to die for. When I heard they were releasing a cookbook I pre-ordered it straight away and was dead excited when it finally arrived in the post. I have used it countless times and it never fails to disappoint. I have many books with delicious American baking recipes but this one is much easier to follow as the measurements and ingredients are geared for the British reader. I have made the Red Velvet Cupcakes many times and recently the Chocolate Muffins (pictured below) which turned out really moist and were an instant hit at a family picnic. I can’t recommend the The Hummingbird Bakery Cookbook enough!
Cupcake Finds: June
I haven’t blogged about cupcakes for a while, that’s almost a crime! Here are my favourite cupcake related items from around the web for the month of June. Stay tuned for a review of my current favourite cupcake recipe book!

Rosanna Playing House Cupcake Cups (My sisters bought me these recently, can’t wait to use them!)

Aloha Cupcake Set (I wish I’d seen these in time for our Hawaiian themed BBQ!)
